Definition: According to Chambers 20th century dictionary "deep thought, serious continuous contemplation, especially on a religious or spiritual theme."

Why Meditate? The origin of meditation is spiritual in nature - to reach nirvana (or God consciousness). Meditation can be used progressively for self realization, improvement, growth, & empowerment. Through meditation, a state of equilibrium, mental health, tranquility & the ability to be really present, are among potential benefits.
